Mariame, 23 ans, danseuse et chorégraphe. Elle est membre du groupe Elite Squad, du groupe So Crazy chorégraphié par Aminata (Zamunda) et du collectif Ghetto-Styles. Elle dit elle-même «Je danse depuis que je sais marcher» et se souvient avoir fait son « premier spectacle à l'âge de 7 ans» mais cela fait réellement 13 ans que elle danse. Elle a ensuite intégré plusieurs petits groupes avec qui elle montait des spectacles et faisaient des concours chorégraphiques. Jusqu'au jour où elle a connu les battles (il y a 3 ans) et y a eu un déclic.
Ce qu’elle dit des battles : «C'est un autre monde, un monde où tu t'affirmes toi, seul ou accompagné et non un monde où tu reproduis un enchainement de pas qui ne sont pas les tiens, c'est ce qui m'a poussé à faire des battle. Les battles m'ont montrer que j'avais encore beaucoup à apprendre de moi et de la danse: j'apprends de chacun de mes battles.
Ses objectifs dans ce milieu sont simples : s’écrire et faire comprendre mon écriture (danse) de la plus belle façon qui soit.
Elle a connu Ghetto-Styles en allant aux battle et par leurs videos. Elle l’a intégré il y a de cela quelque mois (en octobre 201, mois de son anniversaire), Kanon lui a demandé « Ghetto style ça te dit quoi ? », ce à quoi elle a répondu sans me dire qu'il allait lui dire « Bienvenue !»
Pour elle, Ghetto-Styles c’est un concept qui rassemble un ensemble de personnes qui Kiffe et AFFIRME leurs visions du Hip-hop. Chacun a une chose à apporter , il y a des styles, des visions différentes ; c’est ce qui fait la richesse de Ghetto styles.
Sa citation favorite est : « Tout arrive à point à celui qui sait attendre » qu’elle remplace parfois par « tout arrive à point à celui qui sait TAFFER »

Battles show me that I had to learn again a lot of me and some dance: I learn of each of my battles.
Her objectives are simple: spell and make my writing (dance) understand of the most beautiful way.
She knew Ghetto-styles by going to battle and by their videos. And then integrated it there’s some month (in October 2011, month of her b-day), Kanon asked her " What’s Ghetto-style for you ?", to what she answered without know that he was going to say to her "Welcome !"
For her, Ghetto-style it’s the concept which gathers a set of persons which enjoy and ASSERTS their visions of the Hip-hop. Each has a thing to be brought, there are different styles, different visions; it’s what makes the wealth of Ghetto styles.
Her favorite quotation is: "Everything arrives just in time at the one who knows how to wait" that she sometimes replaces by "Everything arrives just in time at the one who knows how to WORK"
